No national Garden Butterflies Count in 2004

Due to a lack of resources, Butterfly Conservation will not be undertaking the very successful Garden Butterflies Count (GBC) during 2004, but hope to resume in 2005.

In response to a query, Lynne Stuckey of Butterfly Conservation told me that the GBC, which was successfully run in 2002 and 2003, would not be taking place in 2004. However, Butterfly Conservation is hopeful of resuming the survey in future years if resources permit.
